Dr.Bürklin-Wolf is a big name in Germany. A historic company with strong ties to its territory. Like this Dr.Bürklin-Wolf Rouge, a vegan cuvée produced according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Made from Dornfelder, Pinot Noir and Merlot grapes, the vineyards are grassy and rich in flowers and herbs, such as valerian, yarrow and crimson clover, creating a healthy environment where biodiversity is the basis of a complex ecosystem. Harvested by hand in September, stainless steel tanks are used for the vinification phase. While for the maturation phase, part of the wine remains in neutral tanks and part is put into wooden barrels. The result is a wine characterised by a beautiful bright ruby red colour, with fine aromas of cherries and notes of tobacco and vanilla. In the mouth it is juicy and fruity. Pleasantly fresh, this wine combines high quality with great drinking pleasure. Perfect for accompanying platters of cured meats and cheeses, this red wine can also be served with satisfaction alongside a beef stew with mushrooms.
