Imbottigliato all'origine dallo Chateau Malartic-Lagravière Pessac Leognan Bordeaux-Francia
Born in the heart of Graves, Le Comte de Malartic is the elegant expression of Château Malartic-Lagravière's savoir-faire. Here, where the gravelly soil meets the ocean breeze, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon find their perfect harmony. The result is a white wine of great finesse, bright and vibrant, capable of combining freshness and complexity with impeccable balance. The nose releases aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers and light-fleshed fruits, enveloped in a subtle mineral touch that recalls the purity of the terroir. The palate is taut and elegant, with a freshness that lingers in a long and precise finish. Refined but not distant, it naturally accompanies seafood, shellfish and white meats. Le Comte de Malartic Blanc is proof that Bordeaux excellence can also be white: a wine that speaks of contemporary elegance and impeccable tradition.
The history of Château Malartic-Lagravière dates back to the 17th century, when Count Hippolyte Maurès de Malartic, admiral to the King of France, purchased Domaine de la Gravière. The property was only sold in 1997 to the Bonnie couple, originally from Belgium, who decided to invest in this estate and renovate it entirely. Today, their son Jean-Jacques runs the estate with the help of renowned oenologist Michel Rolland. This is one of the reasons why the wines of Château Malartic-Lagravière are so highly admired by connoisseurs around the world. The Château cultivates its vineyards according to the principles of sustainable agriculture and is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) level 3. Its vineyard covers 71 hectares, with vines averaging over 30 years of age.
