Grapes merlot 60%, cabernet franc 40%

Sensations Deep and intense ruby red colour. On the nose it is aromatic and floral, showing remarkable purity with vibrant notes of dark berries and fresh cherry. Chocolate, smoke, liquorice and hints of plum are present throughout. Notes of toasted spices and an intriguing peppery touch emerge as well. On the palate the wine is vibrant, silky and fresh; the fruit is more opulent than Le Chenade from the same vintage, with abundant yet fine and ripe tannins and a stony freshness. A background of graphite and pepper gives it both fleshiness and elegance. Complex and layered, it shows a beautiful sense of purity of red stone fruits and dried flowers, finishing with an elegant, smooth and chocolatey note.

Vinification Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and ageing for 50% in new French oak barrels before bottling.
