    Château d'Armailhac Cru Classé 2021
    • Château d’Armailhac is produced in the prestigious Pauillac AOC, in the heart of Bordeaux’s Left Bank. Classified in 1855, it interprets the Médoc style through a balance of power and precision. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the blend, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The vines grow on gravel soils that favour full ripening and a clearly defined structure. In the cellar, extraction is carefully calibrated to preserve clarity and depth. Oak ageing integrates the wine without masking the identity of the fruit. In the glass it reveals blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite and fine spices. The palate is compact, with present yet well-integrated tannins. The progression is linear, with a precise and persistent finish. A Pauillac that combines classicism with a contemporary vision. A structured red built to evolve consistently over time.

Château d’Armailhac is one of the historic estates of Pauillac, classified as a Cinquième Cru Classé in 1855. Located alongside some of the greatest names of the Médoc, it is part of the prestigious group led by the Rothschild family. The vineyards stretch across deep gravel soils that represent the essence of Pauillac’s terroir. Vineyard management is rigorous, with careful parcel selection and controlled yields. In the cellar, technology and tradition coexist to ensure precision and stylistic consistency. The house style emphasises structure, balance and ageing potential. Château d’Armailhac expresses the Left Bank with clear identity and control.
