Riesling Mosel Trocken "Erdener Treppchen" 2018

Straw yellow colour with golden hues. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, orange peel and toasted notes. In the mouth it is pleasantly dry, round and harmonious. Endowed, as it should be, with a nice freshness. We are talking about the Riesling Mosel Trocken Erdener Treppchen, proposed here by C.H.Berres. Originating in the area of Bernkastel, in the westernmost part of Germany bordering Belgium and Luxembourg, this white wine is made from pure Riesling grapes, cultivated in a conscientious and nature-friendly manner. Vineyards characterised by an excellent southern exposure, with deep roots that draw nourishment from soils characterised by a high percentage of blue and grey slate. Harvesting of the grapes, of course, is manual and selective. While vinification takes place exclusively in temperature-controlled steel tanks. A surprisingly versatile white, it goes well with sushi, sashimi and fish tartare. Also excellent with sliced meats and fresh cheeses.
