Mosel Riesling Spatlese 2022

You can't talk about Mosel, Germany, without referring to its fruity and intense whites. Wines made from Riesling grapes. Wines with an innate ability to last a long time, evolving and continuing to improve over the years. Abtei Himmerod's wine, made exclusively in stainless steel and aged on its own fine lees, is no exception. Made only from grapes harvested by hand at full maturity on the steep vineyards of the region, this Riesling presents itself in the glass with a beautiful, intense straw yellow colour. The nose immediately reveals a rich and ripe bouquet of aromas ranging from exotic fruits, including mango and pineapple, peach and even white flowers. There is also the typical hydrocarbon character that distinguishes Mosel wines more than any other region. On the other hand, the slightly oily texture, typical of the variety, is perfectly perceived in the mouth, which goes hand in hand with its distinct natural acidity. A simple but extremely pleasant Riesling.
