  • Sensations Bright pink tending to mauve. Delicate bouquet with hints of red fruits, pomegranate and pink grapefruit. The palate is well balanced, with a good acidity that manages to enhance the fruity characteristics of the product, excellent persistence.
  • Vinification Harvesting takes place during the first ten days of September. The grapes are picked in boxes during the coolest hours of the morning and undergo white vinification. Once cooled and moved to the press, they undergo two to three hours of maceration on the skins to ensure the perfect extraction of the colouring substances. Once the pressing phase is complete, the must obtained is statically clarified under cold conditions and inoculated with yeasts.

  • e-Colosi is a line of wines designed by the Colosi family, and a fun play on words that recalls the term ecology. It is, in fact, quality wines, conceived through processes with low environmental impact. In the vineyard, where no chemical or synthetic substances are used that can affect or damage the plant, and in the cellar, where the main objective is to maintain the authentic aromas and flavours of the grapes. The result is wines that are certified organic and vegan friendly, destined for a public of wine lovers who care about the quality of what they bring to the table. Rosé made from pure Nero d'Avola grapes, this wine is perfect to accompany an aperitif with friends. It is almost certain, in fact, that when it is time to sit down at the table all the guests will ask to continue with the same wine. And, thanks to its versatility, it will not be difficult to find the right combination. Perfect with first and second courses of fish, this organic rosé is also a perfect accompaniment to meat dishes. Excellent with a nice deviled chicken, it can also be paired with delicate meats, such as rabbit, or with a classic pizza. In the glass it has a beautiful bright pink colour, tending to mauve, with a delicate perfume of red fruits, pomegranate and pink grapefruit. In the mouth it is well balanced, with good acidity and excellent persistence.

    Da oltre 40 anni la famiglia Colosi coltiva vigneti in suggestivi terrazzamenti sul mare di Salina, la piccola isola dell’arcipelago delle Eolie, terra altamente vocata alla coltivazione della vite. 10 ettari tra Capo Faro e Porri, una delle zone considerate tra le migliori, sia per l’esposizione che per la natura del terreno. Vigneti ricavati su vecchie terrazze, ottenute dal ripristino di vecchi muri a secco, dove si coltivano le varietà tipiche dell’isola, dal Corinto Nero, al Nerello Cappuccio, al Nerello Mascalese, all’Inzolia, fino al Catarratto e alla Malvasia. Quest’ultima, in particolare, rappresenta il vitigno principe di tutta la produzione enoica del territorio e dell’azienda Colosi. La produzione è incentrata del resto solo su autoctoni, dell’arcipelago ma anche del territorio siciliano, grazie a contratti di collaborazione ventennali con selezionati produttori siciliani.
