  • Sensations medium intense straw yellow in colour, the nose is characteristic and moderately fruity. In the mouth it is dry, particularly fresh thanks to its marked acidity.

  • A wine that never goes out of fashion, Falanghina is the 'refuge' white that all wine lovers look for on a wine list when they are undecided on the best pairing. This is because Falanghina, especially when as good as this one proposed by Cantina di Solopaca, never disappoints. Proposed here in a particularly fresh and drinkable version, it is the result of careful processing of the best grapes brought to the winery by the winegrower-members. The grapes, harvested when fully ripe, are first cryomacerated and then vinified in white and cold. The result is a wine characterised by a beautiful straw colour, with typical aromas of white flowers. In the mouth, it is dry and fresh, perfect as an aperitif and to accompany main courses. Savoury fish, but also delicate white meats, will be enhanced by a glass like this. Try it also with a tasty caprese, dressed with a drizzle of good oil and a leaf of fresh basil.

    The Cantina di Solopaca, in the province of Benevento, is one of the oldest wineries in Campania. And with around 120 thousand hectolitres of wine produced, it also ranks first in regional production. But these numbers should not frighten. Solopaca, in fact, is by no means a heartless industrial colossus. On the contrary, the Cantina di Solopaca is born, grows and develops year after year thanks to the hard work of around 600 member winegrowers. Artisans of the vineyard who manage their small holdings with passion and skill, bringing to the winery only the best fruits of their land. This is how Solopaca DOC was born, the first wine in the Sannio region to obtain the recognition of controlled origin, in 1974. The varieties cultivated are Falanghina and Aglianico, typical of Sannio Benevento, but also Greco and Fiano. In recent years, traditional grape varieties such as Coda di Volpe and Barbera have also been rediscovered. In total, the company can count on around 1300 hectares of vineyard area, in the municipality of Solopaca, and in 16 neighbouring municipalities.
