Sancerre Blanc Comte Lafond

Comte Lafond is a Sancerre, Loire wine made from Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes used by Baron de Ladoucette come from the parcels cultivated in the territories of the communes of Amigny, Bue, Chavignol, Reigny and Verdigny, located on the left bank of the river. Vinification in stainless steel tanks at low temperature, in order to preserve intact the finest components of the natural aromas of this vine, followed by an ageing of about 2 years, also in stainless steel. In the glass it has a beautiful straw yellow color with brilliant reflections. The bouquet of aromas is broad and pleasant. It opens with floral notes, aromas of white fruit, wild herbs and (the inevitable) flint. In the mouth it is fresh and enjoyable. Fruity, juicy, it has a pleasant acidity that makes it particularly drinkable. The finish, particularly long, prolongs the pleasure of drinking for several seconds. Try it with a classic local fried food or, for those who like unusual things, with a spicy dish of Thai cuisine.
