  • Sensations White flowers and yellow flesh fruit stand out on the nose. The perlage is elegant and subtle with a soft foam, in the mouth it is dry, savoury, mineral, long.
  • Vinification The must comes from a soft pressing and undergoes the first fermentation. Afterwards, the sparkling process is carried out in autoclave, through the addition of yeasts, until the desired degree of softness is reached. After 6 months, the sparkling wine is transferred to the bottle where it rests for a further 4 months.

    "Modolet" Spumante Brut
  • The Tenuta di Angoris was a pioneer of sparkling wine production in Friuli. A point of reference for Friulian sparkling wines, it is among the very few wineries in the region to have its own sparkling wine plant. Since 1973 it has been producing Modolet sparkling wine, named after a farm on the estate from which the grapes used for sparkling come. Specifically, Modolet is made from a cuvée of Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay, both 40%, and 20% Ribolla Gialla, one of the region's symbolic grape varieties. A soft pressing of the grapes produces the must that undergoes initial fermentation. The base wine obtained is then passed into an autoclave for the sparkling phase. It remains in contact with its yeasts for about 6 months, after which it is transferred to the bottle for a further 4 months of ageing. Straw yellow with golden hues, the nose is characterised by white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruit. The perlage is elegant and fine, with a soft froth. In the mouth it is dry, savoury, mineral and long. Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with Prosciutto di Sauris, fish and vegetable tempura, shellfish and grilled fish.

    Tenuta di Angoris has been in the municipality of Cormons since 1648, the year in which the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III of Habsburg thanked Locatello Locatelli for his service in the 30 Years War by donating 300 fields in the area known as 'Langoris'. Today, it is Marta Locatelli who runs the family business, thanks to the collaboration of oenologist Alessandro Bologna, who is in turn assisted by a dynamic and cohesive staff. The Tenuta's 75 hectares of vineyards are located in the most suitable areas for regional viticulture (DOC Friuli Isonzo - DOC Friuli Colli Orientali - DOC Collio). The Angoris Estate started a long time ago on a path aimed at respecting the environment and natural resources. Since 2017, in fact, they have been able to boast S.Q.N.P.I. recognition - Sistema di Qualità Nazionale Produzione Integrata (National Quality System for Integrated Production) - an agri-food production system that uses all means of production and defence of agricultural production from adversities, aimed at minimising the use of synthetic chemical substances and rationalising fertilisation, in compliance with ecological principles.
