Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry

The Zago Gasparini family, when it does things, likes to do them well. And so, after building an industrial empire with an annual turnover in the millions, in 2009 it decided to give in to the calling of the land and return to getting its hands dirty in the vineyard. This is how Tenuta 2Castelli, in the Prosecco hills, was founded. The name refers to the position of the old manor house, whose lands are enclosed between the Castles of San Salvatore and Collalto. A total of 11 hectares, 10 of which, between Collalto and Refrontolo, are cultivated with Glera, and one in Istrana, cultivated with Merlot and Carmènère. Eco-sustainable philosophy and healthy agriculture and respectful of craft traditions, the 2Castelli focus on achieving the highest quality with minimal impact on the environment. So harvesting by hand and copper and sulphur, as well as the burial of nitrogenous plants, to eliminate the use of chemical fertilizers and ensure proper water consumption for all crops. A member of FIVI (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti - Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), at Tenuta 2Castelli they take care of the whole supply chain, from the vineyard to the bottle and from the cellar to the main world markets.
