With this wine, Serre di Pederiva meets those who love Prosecco and want to be able to put it on the table every day. And it does so with this Cuvée Brut Serre which, thanks to its low sugar content, is ideal both as an aperitif and as a meal wine. Without losing pleasantness and typicality. Produced with pure Glera grapes from the company's vineyards in Valdobbiadene, this sparkling wine is made from the classic cold processing of the grapes, followed by frothing, that is, the sparkling phase, in an autoclave. The result is a wine characterised by a beautiful pale straw yellow colour with evident greenish reflections. The foam that covers the glass after pouring is soft and abundant, well supported by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, fresh fruity aromas emerge immediately, followed by notes of exotic fruits, pineapple and banana. All perfectly indicative of real Prosecco. In the mouth it is dry, slim and crisp at the same time. A sparkling wine that invites you to a toast, excellent as an aperitif, but can also happily be served to open lunches or dinners, especially fish-based.
Serre di Pederiva's is a beautiful family story. One of the many stories of emigrants forced to leave their homeland to seek their fortune in the world. But then they return to their own country to re-acquire their land and realise their dream of starting a family in the places they love. In this case, we are in the hills of Valdobbiadene and the protagonists of the story are Camillo Pederiva and Rosa Mattiola who, in 1956, managed to realise their dream by purchasing plots of land from the Counts Brandolini d'Adda around Combai di Miane. This was followed by years of intense work to renovate the vineyards. But today, thanks also to the commitment of their two sons, Luca and Marco, the company has reached exceptional quality standards.
