  • Sensations The Grand Cru Millesime Blanc de Blancs is a fine, velvety, golden champagne with fine bubbles and a subtle, full aromatic palette. On the palate, the attack is lively and mineral. Its citrus complexity is enhanced by fine floral notes - the intense flavours of the mid-palate are supported by delicate spice aromas such as clove. Then, the finish, driven by a still airy passage is enhanced by a chalky minerality.

  • Champagne Grand Cru, Blanc de Blancs, by Nicolas Feuillatte. The one proposed here is a wine destined to give great satisfaction. A 100% Chardonnay, white sparkling wine made only from white grapes, it is the result of blending grapes from the greatest Crus of the Côte des Blancs. Here, the soils, rich in chalk, and the perfect exposures allow the Chardonnay to reach perfect ripeness, maintaining freshness without lacking in sweetness and aromas. And this cuvée, in particular, represents precisely the 'quintessence' of a well-born Chardonnay. Champagne Millésimé, therefore produced from a single vintage. In this case 2012, which was excellent although very difficult due to the adverse weather conditions that characterised the entire ripening cycle of the grapes. A champagne with great ageing potential that will acquire more and more complexity as time goes by. A bottle to share with friends and enthusiasts, especially 'connaisseurs' of the magical world of Champagne. Excellent right from aperitif time, it can accompany delicious goat cheese, courgette and pine nut flans or, for lovers of tradition, even simple spaghetti allo scoglio.

    'If Champagne is an exceptional product, it should not be reserved for exceptional occasions'. This is the philosophy of the youngest of the great Champagne Houses. We are talking about Nicolas Feuillatte, an interesting entity based in Chouilly, 'in the heart of the vignoble', i.e. the vineyard, five minutes from Epernay. This is a modern cooperative, based in an equally modern building inaugurated in April 2017 and characterised by pure lines that evoke the relief of the Champagne region and guarantee a spectacular view of vineyards and villages from the Marne Valley to the Côte des Blancs. Born in Paris in 1926 into a family of prominent wine and spirits importers, Nicolas Feuillatte has a spirit of adventure that led him to try his luck on the other side of the Atlantic after the Second World War. At the age of 40, he invested in the Champagne vineyard, creating his own brand in 1976. Commercial success was immediate and in 1986 he sold his brand to the Centre-Vinicole de la Champagne, remaining its unbeatable ambassador.
