    • Sensations COLOUR: Deep, dark ruby red, with great intensity and brilliance. AROMA: The nose opens with intense and enveloping aromas, reminiscent of ripe plums and red fruit jam, enriched with delicate spicy notes. FLAVOUR: Warm and smooth on the palate, with good body and ripe fruit in the foreground. The sweet and well-integrated tannins give balance and pleasantness to the palate.
    • Vinification The 55 hectares of Primitivo vineyards, cultivated using the Guyot method, are divided into plots and vinified separately, respecting the different characteristics of the soil. The soils are red and ferruginous, enriched by ploughing, which has released precious minerals: soils of great potential, capable of giving the wine complexity, structure and aromatic depth. The harvest takes place in the first week of September, with some of the grapes reaching a slight over-ripeness on the vine. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in steel vats at an average temperature of 26°C, followed by 7 days of maceration. After malolactic fermentation, also in steel, the individual parcels are blended to obtain the final blend. The wine matures for 12 months in large 60-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels and then ages in the bottle for a further 6 months.
