  • This Crémant du Jura offered by Maison du Vigneron is made from pure Chardonnay grapes. A Blanc de blancs absolutely pleasant and born from simple and accurate processing at the winery of the best grapes in the region. Soft pressing and careful, temperature-controlled vinification are the ingredients of the base wine which is then subject to a second fermentation in the bottle. The result is a sparkling wine characterized by a greenish yellow color, made brighter by an uninterrupted chain of very fine bubbles. On the nose, it has an intense aromas of green apple, citrus and honey. Particularly typical are the notes brought by the yeast which, in this case, are reminiscent of croissants. Finally, on the palate, it is round and pleasantly soft. Initially, there is a slight hint of sugar which then harmonizes perfectly with the other aromas. Hints of apple and honey return, as well as the memory of pastries and croissants.

    Maison du Vigneron is the main producer of the Jura wine region. The location is in Burgundy, not too far from the Champagne region. It is no coincidence that these areas also produce excellent sparkling wines under the name C'èmant de Jura, as well as white and red wines obtained from the traditional Burgundy vines, namely Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Maison du Vigneron owes the reputation of its wines above all to the quality of the soils of the region and the preservation of cultural practices and traditional winemaking methods.
