Krasno Pinot Noir Gori?ka Brda 2020

A wine of character, full-bodied and with a warm finish. These are the words chosen by the producers to describe this interesting Pinot Noir produced in the Slovenian hills. Careful processing of the grapes, harvested by local vintners at the perfect stage of ripeness, results in an interesting red with beautiful personality, perfect on more than one occasion. Deep ruby red with garnet reflections, this Pinot Noir offers a very typical bouquet, characterized by notes of small red fruits and berries. Perfect then is the correspondence with what is perceived in the mouth. Again, in fact, it is easy to discern notes of ripe fruit that are well complemented by ripe, subtle tannins. The body is full and the finish long and warm. A red that, as noted above, proves perfect on more than one occasion. Excellent, for example, to accompany a tasty duck breast. But also a mushroom risotto or, for those who like unusual combinations, even a good smoked salmon. Great is its ageing potential. Well stored, in the cellar, it can safely evolve in the bottle for up to 15 years.
