CHARACTERISTICS
  • TypeVino rosso fermo
  • Location Veneto
  • Grapes 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenere
  • Sensations Dark red colour. Intense nose of small dark berries, spices, pepper, dried cherries and vanilla. Soft, round palate with a deep aroma.
  • Vinification The grapes, harvested by hand in 15 kg crates, are destemmed delicately, taking care not to break the skin of the berries. A pre-fermentation maceration of 24-48 hours is carried out, followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel for 23-28 days at a controlled temperature not exceeding 28°C. At the end of malolactic fermentation, the wine is placed in new (41%) and second-passage (59%) French oak barriques for a total duration of 12 months. After an initial period of ageing in separate lots, these are assembled and complete their evolution in wood. "Bradisismo" rests a further 4 months in stainless steel, is then bottled and remains in refinement for at least 12 months before being presented on the market.

A soft, juicy red, offering cherry, plum and bark with chocolate undertones. It’s full and layered with plenty of ripe fruit and a flavorful finish. A very pretty Veneto red. Drink or hold.

"Bradisismo" Cabernet Colli Berici DOC 2020
  • Bradisismo is one of the most loved and appreciated labels of the Inama winery in the world. It is, as we read on the winery's website, 'our classic reserve'. Produced since 1997, the particular name recalls the geological event that generated the Berici Hills territory. Made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Carmenere, this wine is produced with grapes from organically farmed vineyards. What makes this red wine unique is certainly the presence of Carmenere, a grape variety dear to the Inama winery's technicians, which strongly characterises the blend and blends so well with Cabernet Sauvignon that it is considered a valid alternative to a Supertuscan or a top Bordeaux. Moreover, the wine enjoys an excellent value for money. It matures for about 15 months in only 50 per cent new barriques, and expresses a synthesis of the intense ripe, concentrated cherry aroma of Cabernet Sauvignon, together with the lively notes of Carmenere, such as pepper, cocoa and berries. Bradisismo is an exciting red wine for the whole meal. Ideal to accompany grilled meat, it has enough stuffing to hold its own with savoury meats such as lamb or kid and medium-aged cheeses. A great red that never disappoints.

The history of the Inama winery is deeply linked to that of its founder, Giuseppe Inama, who for over forty years invested his energies in the vineyards on Monte Foscarino. What he considered, probably rightly, to be one of the most important territories in the Soave area. The winery is located in San Bonifacio, in the province of Verona. The first bottles produced by Inama date back only to 1991. The first wine was a Sauvignon, a new variety for the area, which was called 'Vulcaia', to emphasise the uniqueness of a soil of ancient volcanic origin that deserved to be enhanced with shrewd vinification and a focus on quality rather than quantity. Today, the winery is run by Stefano, Giuseppe's son, who is proving to be one of the area's most eclectic winemakers, capable of daring with innovative choices that often break with tradition. With him are Matteo, Alessio and Luca, who represent the third generation of the family. 30 hectares of land, mainly cultivated with white varieties, and conducted with passion and competence. Organic in fact, even before the label.
