  • Sensations It has a straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose is extremely elegant and complex, with sensations of peach, kiwi, pink grapefruit, melon, pineapple, passion fruit, boxwood, sage, tomato leaf, yellow pepper. A dry wine of great finesse, fresh, savoury and velvety.
  • Vinification Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C. Once fermentation is complete, maturing follows, again in stainless steel tanks.

    Sauvignon Friuli Grave DOC 2022
  • Sauvignon, a delight for the palate of every new sommelier. A white grape variety, originally from the French region of Bordeaux, it is widely cultivated throughout the world. And in Friuli in particular, it is known for producing refreshing and aromatic white wines, with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and herbs, as well as the ever-present pepper and tomato leaf. A fine example is the one proposed here by I Magredi. Fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, after transformation the wine continues with a slow ageing phase, again in steel. Everything is done with full respect for the freshness and fragrance of the initial fruit. What is obtained is a white wine characterised by a beautiful straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose is extremely elegant and complex, with sensations of ripe, juicy peach, kiwi, pink grapefruit, melon, pineapple, passion fruit. But also sage and - rightly - tomato leaf and green pepper. In the mouth, however, it proves to be a pleasantly dry wine with great finesse. Fresh and savoury, the sip is pleasantly velvety. Perfect with fish dishes, but also with salads and fresh cheeses.

    The I Magredi estate was purchased in 1968 by Otello Tombacco, an entrepreneur from Oderzo in the province of Treviso. Initially, the estate was divided between arable land, apple and peach trees and vineyards. The turning point came in 1985, when Michelangelo, Otello's son, after obtaining a diploma as an agricultural expert, started working in the family business. Within a few years, I Magredi was definitively transformed into a winery. The first part of today's winery was built in 1990 and has undergone extensions and modernisation of structures and technologies over the years. Today, the company can count on modern, state-of-the-art facilities with which to process the grapes from the estate vineyards. I Magredi is also an environmentally friendly winery. In fact, a powerful photovoltaic system has been installed at the winery, phyto-purification of the winery's waste water is carried out and an atomiser is used to recover and reuse excess water in the production of the wines. Theirs, therefore, are good wines that do not harm our health or that of the environment in which they are produced. Double satisfaction!
