  • Sensations Aliè 2018 is characterized by extreme sensuality. The soft pink colour with peach nuances immediately expresses its intriguing personality. The incisive and unmistakable bouquet pervades the senses, inebriating with Mediterranean scents that blend with those of fresh fruit and ripe fruit to give full satisfaction. The September peach finally stands out. The floral notes don't take long to arrive, with light hints of rose. The result is an extremely persuasive, fine and elegant nose. On the palate, the fruity notes return and are joined by captivating citrus sensations, such as pink grapefruit. Little by little the savoury nuance elegantly makes its entrance in this whirlwind of taste sensations. AlÏe 2018 is full, silky and deep. The aftertaste explodes in a succession of fresh and persistent aromas.
  • Vinification Once harvested, the grapes are transported rapidly to the cellar in order not to spoil or damage the bunches. One of the most important moments in the production of AlÏe, however, is the pressing phase. The bunches are loaded into the press whole and in the absence of oxygen. The pressures applied during this phase are soft and delicate; this process, together with the careful selection of the musts and their subsequent decantation for no less than 12 hours, makes it possible to eliminate all the vegetable components that would otherwise make the wine unpleasant. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature below 20°C. After a few months of refinement on fine lees, including a period in the bottle.

    A blend of Syrah and Vementino, this is a fresh and absolutely enjoyable Rosato from Tuscany. The Frescobaldi 2019 Rosé Alìe Ammiraglia shows a rosy pink color with copper and peach highlights. The bouquet is redolent of cassis, sour cherry, almond and a touch of green garden herb or dried basil. That slightly green or tangy note comes from the Vermentino. This popular Italian grape also imparts salty, sea mist aromas that add focus and sharpness to the overall presentation. You could pair this delicate, fragrant and slightly soft rosé wine with a plate of raw shrimp, or gamberi rossi.

  • The bottle is a big one and could be misleading. In reality, Alìedi Frescobaldi is a champion of elegance and drinkability. The result of skilful processing of Syrah and Vermentino grapes, this rosé has a soft colour and is appreciated for its citrus notes that characterize it from the very first sip and for its great sapidity that makes it perfect also paired with savoury dishes. Aged in steel to bring out the best of the most characteristic notes of the two varieties used, it is the classic bottle that finishes early and calls loudly for a second chance.
