"Serpico" Irpinia Aglianico DOC 2015

There is a subtle fil-rouge that unites everything that has been done at Feudi di San Gregorio since its inception in 1986. It is the desire to make the most of the inestimable heritage of indigenous grape varieties from the Campania region. Starting with Greco, Fiano and Aglianico, true regional flagships. Today, the company can count on a total of 300 hectares of vineyards, divided into over 800 plots that differ in altitude, exposure and slope. A marvellous natural jigsaw puzzle that perfectly expresses the biodiversity of the land, and is capable of producing extraordinary crus. It is currently one of the leading wineries in Southern Italy, with exports covering more than 50 countries worldwide. The experience gained over the years therefore led the Capaldo family, who have always been the mind and soul of the company, to decide to explore the wine potential of other regions of Italy. Thus the 'Tenute Capaldo' project was born, encompassing a complex of wineries ranging from DUBL, also from Campania, to Campo alle Comete in Tuscany, passing through Basilisco, an organic winery in Vulture, Ognissole, a biodynamic winery in Apulia, Sirch, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, and ending with FedeGraziani, a small jewel on the slopes of Etna. All realities united by the same values: to produce wines of excellent quality while respecting the territory they belong to.
