In the heart of Salento, land of great wines, and more precisely in the locality of San Marzano is the Notte Rossa winery. Here the vines are Primitivo di Manduria from which wines of great personality are obtained. The company vineyards are located in the most suitable areas of the Salento peninsula. Hectares of vineyards, mainly with native grapes, arranged in different plots that enjoy different exposures and soils. The white grapes come from the hilly and basically clayey areas in the north of Taranto, in the upper Salento, at about 150 metres above sea level. For the reds, such as Primitivo and Negroamaro, the choice falls on plots of land located further south, areas of red soil, limestone and sand, where the old trees have lived for decades with the shrubs of the Mediterranean.
