"Bico Da Ran" DO Rias Baixas 2021

100% Albariño, Bico da Ran by Fento Wines, DO Rias Baixas, is made with grapes from the best vineyards in Salnés, in the autonomous community of Galicia. We are in the far north of Spain, on the Atlantic coast. In the Salnés Valley subzone, in particular, the vineyards are located at an altitude of less than 300 meters, and the climatic characteristics, strongly influenced by the proximity of the Ocean, cause mild temperatures and frequent, well-distributed rainfall. Grapes are harvested in the morning to preserve aromaticity and freshness as much as possible. Then the must is fermented using selected yeasts capable of enhancing its primary varietal aromas and then cold stabilized and filtered. Bright straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, this Galician white is extremely typical. Particularly refreshing, it has distinct notes of apple and pear. Then citrus and passion fruit. In the mouth, it confirms its nature as a pleasantly fruity and fresh wine with an intense vegetal character and a medium finish. A perfect white for a summer aperitif, this Albariño is perfect with fresh seafood dishes. Excellent with octopus salad and the classic peppered mussels.
