  • Sensations Brilliant straw yellow in colour, Kabir 2022 is characterised by a broad bouquet of tropical fruit, floral hints of orange blossom and delicate briny nuances. Fruity and sweet notes echo in the mouth, perfectly balanced by the fresh mineral vein. Good persistence with a delicately spiced finish.
  • Vinification On receipt at the winery, further selection of the grapes on the vibrating table before soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in steel at a temperature of 14-16°C. Maturation in tank for three months and three months in bottle before release.

  • Where the alberello is a Unesco Heritage Site, Kabir, Moscato di Pantelleria DOC is born, one of the good, indeed very good, fruits of the Zibibbo grape, or Moscato di Alessandria. It is proposed by Donnafugata, a Marsala-based company that declares itself "in love with the extreme nature of Pantelleria, a volcanic island between Sicily and Africa". The Rallo family landed here in 1989, launching an innovative project of quality and heroic viticulture. Kabir matures in vats for three months and then for a further three months in bottles before being marketed. Brilliant straw yellow in the glass, Kabir is characterised by a broad bouquet reminiscent of tropical fruit, with floral hints of orange blossom and delicate briny nuances. In the mouth echoes the fruity and sweet notes typical of the variety, perfectly balanced by the fresh mineral vein. Good persistence, with a delicately spicy finish. Perfect with anchovies, goat cheese, ice cream and fruit desserts. Try it with botargo and large smoked fish.
