Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Symbolic wine of the Burgundy region, Pinot Noir is one of the most beloved grape varieties in the world. Thanks to its versatility, which allows it to be processed in virtually any way, but also (and perhaps most importantly) because of its great longevity. Precisely this ability to evolve well over the years has meant that the Pinot Noir of Burgundy has often become a cult object among enthusiasts and collectors. The Burgundy proposed by Domaine Faiveley represents a good reference point for the typology. After vinification, it matures for a period of about a year in oak barrels before being bottled and left to rest in the cellar for a few more months before it goes on the market. In the glass it has a beautiful deep ruby red colour. On the nose, fruity notes reminiscent of wild berries, strawberry, blackberry and raspberry. In the mouth it is soft, fine and intense. A nice, scholastic wine for those who want to start learning about this incredible grape variety.
