The name on the label, Bordeaux Supérieur lets us know right away that what is stored in the bottle is an elegant child of two great international grape varieties. Specifically, the recipe proposed by Château La Fleur Baudron calls for a clear predominance of Merlot grapes, about 70%, to which 30% Cabernet Sauvignon is added. Fruit and roundness, then, to balance freshness and tannin. In the glass it is a beautiful deep ruby red color. The aroma is dominated by notes of red and dark fruits, as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and noble wood. In the mouth, however, this wine reveals all its expressive power. Elegant and intense, it is the right wine to accompany red meat dishes. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses.
