Château Haut-Marbuzet Saint-Estèphe 2021

We are located in the prized area of Saint-Estèphe, in the heart of Bordeaux. Here, Château Haut-Marbuzet offers this red wine made from a blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot for the small remaining percentage. This wine perfectly represents all the elegance and complexity typical of the best Saint-Estèphe. The vineyards, located on gravelly hills with a clay-limestone subsoil at 350 metres above sea level, offer an ideal terroir for growing Bordeaux vines. Vinification is traditional red, with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel and ageing in new oak barrels. In the glass, Château Haut-Marbuzet reveals a deep garnet-coloured red. On the nose, a complex bouquet reveals notes of redcurrants, iron, white pepper, orange peel, sweet spices and an intriguing touch of chilli chocolate. In the mouth, however, it wins you over with its structure and intact tannins. Pleasant vibrant minerality and a long finish that leaves an indelible memory and invites you to sip again. Thanks to its fine structure and intense aromas, this Saint-Estèphe is a perfect accompaniment to savoury first courses with meat sauces, red meats, roasts and game.
