"eColosi" Bianco Terre Siciliane IGP 2021

e-Colosi is a line of wines designed by the Colosi family, and a fun play on words that recalls the term ecology. It is, in fact, quality wines, conceived through processes with low environmental impact. In the vineyard, where no chemical or synthetic substances are used that can affect or damage the plant, and in the cellar, where the main objective is to maintain the authentic aromas and flavours of the grapes. The result is wines that are certified organic and vegan friendly, destined for a public of wine lovers who are attentive to the quality of what they bring to the table. The white wine proposed here, in particular, is made from 70% Catarratto and 30% Pinot Grigio grapes from the Mazzara del Vallo vineyards in Trapani. Straw yellow in colour, it has a fresh bouquet of ripe fruit, with hints of white peach and white flowers. In the mouth it is savoury, well balanced, with good acidity. A decidedly pleasant wine, perfect to accompany lunches or dinners in company, with a menu based on delicate fish or white meat dishes.
