  • Sensations An elegant and very drinkable wine. Intense and fruity nose with hints of citrus and minerals. On the palate it is balanced, soft and long lasting.
  • Vinification The grapes are gently pressed. About 15% of the grapes come from the cooler, sea-breeze influenced area of Langhorne Creek. This portion is aged in medium toasted French barrels to produce a more complex wine. Most of the blend is then added and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel.

  • A fine example of New World Chardonnay. This Soldier's Block Chardonnay is an elegant and very drinkable wine. One of Australia's most popular Chardonnays, it has a beautiful straw yellow colour with good intensity in the glass. The nose is intense and fruity, with hints of citrus and yellow and tropical fruit. Finely mineral, it has the characteristic plumpness of Chardonnay, as well as a perfect balance between all its components. Good today, with time it may develop slightly sweet hints reminiscent of acacia honey and lightly toasted.
