A wine of absolute pleasantness characterized by a beautiful straw yellow colour with light greenish reflections that make us immediately think of a product of great freshness and immediacy. The nose is absolutely academic in its more typically varietal notes. Intense and rich, it ranges from vegetal notes of green pepper and tomato leaf to sweeter hints of ripe fruit such as peach and apricot. A particularly rich bouquet is completed by finer scents of white flowers and hints of flint. In the mouth it has great personality and enjoys a long, dry finish that prolongs the pleasure of drinking for several seconds.
The Borgo Conventi winery was founded in 1975 in one of the first monasteries in the area of Farra d'Isonzo, built by a Dominican monk on land received as a gift from Count Strassoldo, known as "il Rizzardo". In 2001 the winery became part of the group owned by the historic Folonari family, an important name in the world of wine, while in 2019 it was acquired by the Moretti Polegato family, already owners of the Venetian company Villa Sandi, a reference for the world of Prosecco. A corner of paradise for the cultivation of the vine that here reaches levels of absolute excellence, especially thanks to the aromatic white varieties.
