Twelve months in 2000-liter Slavonian oak barrels and an additional year of bottle aging. It therefore takes no less than two years to be able to taste the first glass of Anno Domini, Malvazija, or Istrian Malvasia, offered here by Benvenuti. In the glass it has a beautiful golden yellow color, with aromas of beautiful intensity, fine and pleasant. In the opening, in particular, spicy notes of white pepper and turmeric dominate. This is followed by hints of ripe fruit, particularly white-fleshed, such as pears, peaches and apples, then herbaceous hints, of bay leaf and rosemary, and beeswax.
