The history of the Chiappini Winery starts in the Marche region, the land of origin of Giovanni (Chiappini) and reaches Tuscany, in the beautiful Bolgheri, which has been home since the 1950s. The plan was to open a small farming business. This goal has been achieved and surpassed, given that today the winery that bears this name is a more than consolidated business, capable of producing elegant wines appreciated by wine lovers in different parts of the world. Today Giovanni is joined by his daughters Martina and Lisa. There are a total of 27 hectares of land owned. Of these, 15 are vineyards from which about 80,000 bottles of wine are produced each year. The varieties cultivated are those that distinguish the area. So it is mainly international grape varieties, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot in clear majority. However, there is also a small part with a proudly Tuscan heart, with the ever-present Sangiovese and the always pleasant Vermentino.
