Sorante Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC

There is no wine that better represents Sicily in the world than the classic Nero d'Avola. A real box office smash hit in the last 20 years. A red wine that, thanks to its innate pleasantness and frankness, always manages to get everyone in agreement. It is difficult, in fact, that once the bottle has been opened, at the end of the meal there will be a few drops left over. Sorante is Gorghi Tondi's interpretation of the typical Nero d'Avola grown on the west coast of the island. In the glass it has a beautiful deep ruby red colour. The nose is dominated by fruity sensations, with ripe cherry, juicy plum and for those who know it also some vivid memories of gooseberry. In the mouth it is rich and warm, harmonious and velvety. The finish is just long enough to make us not miss it after a few moments, and has a slight spiciness that is very typical for the grape.
