Segreante Syrah Sicilia DOC

Versatile as few vines are, Syrah is a grape capable of adapting to different environments and climates, giving life from time to time to wines with a very different character. Sometimes lighter and evanescent, other times more intense and structured. Segreante is a perfect example of what a pure Syrah born on the coast of Sicily can be like. A wine that is born in a magical territory, where the heat of the summer sun is mitigated by the breezes that come, full of iodine, from the nearby sea. In the glass it has a beautiful deep and intense ruby red colour. The nose is dominated by ripe and juicy red fruit, made more interesting by evident tertiary notes of toast, tobacco and vanilla. There is also the typical spicy note reminiscent of black pepper, the true trademark of the Syrah grape. In the mouth it is warm and powerful, rich and rightly tannic. And the pleasure of drinking lingers for several minutes after each sip thanks to its long persistence.
