  • Sensations Intense, shiny ruby red colour. The nose reveals an elegant and vibrant complexity, leaving room for fruity scents such as blackberry and plum that are well balanced with notes of vanilla and liquorice. The entry in the mouth is silky and enveloping, with fine and elegant tannins well integrated; thanks to its elegant acidity, freshness and vivacity emerge, with a long and intriguing finish. The aftertaste is fruity and extremely pleasant.
  • Vinification Carefully harvested grapes are brought to the winery. Once destemmed, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Maceration on the skins lasts two weeks. The wine is then aged in second and third stage French oak barriques for 12 months. A further period in the bottle follows.

  • While in Tuscany red wine is mainly combined with Sangiovese, the Maremma is an exception. Here many good wines are produced from international grapes, such as this Cabernet Terre More from the Ammiraglia di Frescobaldi estate. Cabernet Sauvignon base with a small addition of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah, harvested by hand, for a wine of absolute pleasantness. The processing is in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. 13 days’ maceration in contact with the skins, then malolactic fermentation and aging for 12 months in barriques for the second and third time. In the glass it is a beautiful deep ruby red colour. On the nose fruity hints of blackberry, plum and currant, then notes of vanilla and liquorice. The mouthfeel is soft and elegant, with a very long finish and a sweet and fruity aftertaste.
