Domaine Marguerite Carillon offers this interesting Burgundy Chardonnay, an ideal white wine for all those who, fresh from their studies (or simple enthusiasts), are looking for the true character of the noble French wine region. This wine, in fact, can easily be described as 'didactic'. Intense straw yellow, with elegant golden hues, the nose reveals clearly recognisable notes of white pulp fruit that blend with hints of white flowers, citrus and hazelnut. In the mouth it does not disappoint. It is a fresh and gratifying Chardonnay, juicy and fat but pleasantly savoury on the finish. Excellent with grilled fish or white meat dishes.
1988 is the year in which Domaine Marguerite Carillon was founded. We are located in the famous village of Meursault, in the heart of Burgundy. Initially, the Domaine could only count on vineyards located mainly in the Côte de Beaune, from Aloxe-Corton to Santenay. Over the years, however, thanks to fortunate acquisitions, the estate was able to expand into the fine Côte de Nuits and Chablis. Today, it can count on a total of around 40 hectares of property, from which it produces fine wines, often awarded by international wine critics.
