    • Il Rosso di Montalcino Dino Ciacci de Il Valentiano is a heartfelt tribute to an enlightened grandfather, one of the founding fathers of the Brunello Consortium. A story of passion with deep roots that lives on today in every glass. We are on the south-western slope of Montalcino, at an altitude of about 400 metres, in an area kissed by the sun and protected from the winds. Here, Sangiovese finds its natural habitat to express itself at its best. Il Valentiano's vineyards are also cultivated using organic methods, a choice that testifies to the deep respect for the land and its vocation. Rosso di Montalcino is designed to be an ambassador for the territory, an enjoyable and versatile wine that does not need years of waiting to show its character. After careful vinification, the wine rests in Slavonian oak barrels to refine its characteristics. The result is a bright ruby red colour. The nose is a riot of aromas: from crisp cherry to wild berries, followed by delicate spicy notes, a touch of undergrowth and a hint of flowers. In the mouth, it is pure joy. Fresh, juicy, with a beautiful acidity that makes it lively and agile. The tannins are smooth, not at all aggressive, and the finish is long, with a beautiful return of fruity notes. A wine that immediately wins you over and invites you to have a second glass without too much thought.

      The history of the Dino Ciacci winery began in Montalcino, amid passion, sacrifice and love for the land. It all started in the late 19th century with Savino Ciacci and continued with his son Dino, who, with courage and dedication, transformed the family's life from sharecroppers to landowners. In 1967, Dino was one of the founders of the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino, helping to write a fundamental page in the history of Italian viticulture. In the 1980s and 1990s, the winery experienced the growth and consecration of Brunello, planting new vineyards and building a modern winery. Today, the tradition continues with the fourth generation, led by Tiberio, who combines study and innovation with respect for the roots. Each bottle tells the story of a family's tenacity and its unbreakable bond with the hills of Montosoli.
