Il Rosso di Montalcino Dino Ciacci de Il Valentiano is a heartfelt tribute to an enlightened grandfather, one of the founding fathers of the Brunello Consortium. A story of passion with deep roots that lives on today in every glass. We are on the south-western slope of Montalcino, at an altitude of about 400 metres, in an area kissed by the sun and protected from the winds. Here, Sangiovese finds its natural habitat to express itself at its best. Il Valentiano's vineyards are also cultivated using organic methods, a choice that testifies to the deep respect for the land and its vocation. Rosso di Montalcino is designed to be an ambassador for the territory, an enjoyable and versatile wine that does not need years of waiting to show its character. After careful vinification, the wine rests in Slavonian oak barrels to refine its characteristics. The result is a bright ruby red colour.
