Bordeaux Entre-deux-Mer AOP 2021

Bordeaux, land of great reds. But also of extraordinarily fine and complex white wines. Children of two grape varieties, in particular, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Noble and delicately aromatic grapes, capable of expressing themselves at the highest level, both in dry and passito versions. In this case Château de Cathalogne offers a classic Entre-deux-Mers AOC, where Sauvignon clearly dominates over delicate Sémillon. The combination, however, never ceases to amaze in complexity and depth. Straw yellow in color with obvious greenish reflections, this Bordeaux white has broad and expressive aromas dominated by notes of exotic fruit and a slightly herbaceous touch, typical of Sauvignon grapes. In the mouth, it is harmonious and distinguished by a pleasant freshness. A wine to be drunk very young to best appreciate the finesse of its varietal aromas, this white happily accompanies a meal right from the appetizer. Try it with a delicate seafood risotto or spaghetti allo scoglio with seafood.
