In 2018, the Sartori winery turned 120 years old. This fact is probably enough to understand that it is one of the most incredible realities of the Veronese territory. The history of Sartori began in 1898 when Pietro bought his first vineyard in Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella. "An 'eccentric personality, but magmatic from a business point of view', as Pietro Sartori is described by his heirs, he was one of the most popular 'restaurateurs' in the area. The trattoria Sartori, in fact, was an essential address for merchants, businessmen and small industrialists in the area, to whom Pietro never failed to offer an excellent Veronese Rosso wine, as it was called at the time. Hence, first the decision to expand his business as a wine merchant, and then the decision to start producing on his own, so that good wine would never be missing from the tables of his loyal customers. Today, Sartori is a successful company with an international vocation, realising over 80% of its turnover in more than 50 countries, in Europe, North and South America, Russia and South East Asia. Its range proudly includes the great Veronese classics: Valpolicella, Soave, Bardolino, Bardolino Chiaretto, always reinterpreted in an elegant and personalised key.
