Roceno is one of Cantine Europa's lines of excellence. Produced exclusively from Sicilian grapes, they are, according to the winery's technical experts, the best possible combination of authenticity and pleasantness, simplicity and tradition, modern taste and typicality. Frappato in purity, this wine is an excellent example. Terre Siciliane IGP, it derives from a careful selection of the best grapes from the winery's members, vinified with care, a few hours after the harvest, in temperature-controlled containers. The result is a beautiful wine characterised by a bright ruby red colour and not too deep. On the nose it is easy to distinguish the typical scents of black cherry and wild berries, made even fresher and more pleasant by a subtle but perceptible mineral note. In the mouth it is a pleasantly tannic but well balanced wine. Fresh and full-bodied, this Sicilian red wine is ideal for simple red meat dishes or cheeses and cold cuts of medium intensity.
