Dumè Frappato Sicilia DOC - Tenuta Gorghi Tondi

Frappato is a red grape variety that can help young sommeliers who are just starting out to dispel the great myth that you only drink white wine with fish. This gentle vine, in fact, gives life to a very pleasant wine with low tannins. A wine that also lends itself very well to being served slightly chilled and paired successfully with tasty fish dishes. Dumì, from Gorghi Tondi, is a pure Frappato produced organically. In the glass it has a beautiful deep, particularly bright, ruby red colour. The nose is striking for the pleasantness and intensity of its memories of fresh fruit ranging from blackberry, to raspberry and pomegranate. In the mouth, however, despite revealing a good structure, it manages to be fresh and pleasant.

Clara and Annamaria Sala are two true women of wine. They are daughters of winemakers and today they are the young and sunny face of a beautiful Sicilian winery. We are talking about Gorghi Tondi, an estate located in Mazzara del Vallo, within a natural context of rare beauty. We are, in fact, inside a WWF protected oasis, where the blue of the sky and the sea blend with the whiteness of the beach and the green of the vines that arrive a few metres from the shoreline. An enchanting place to visit where, after having satisfied the spirit, you also have the opportunity to taste wines of great elegance.
