A delicate nose of cherry and stone starts off this Cerasuolo. The medium-bodied palate is more expressive in flavors of thick-skinned red berries and crushed herbs, with a cherry pit note marking the close. A healthy framing of acidity and gentle tannins frames it all, offering a well-balanced rosato that would be perfect at the dinner table. ALEXANDER PEARTREE
Hedos is a nice pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, rose’ vinified, and therefore proposed with the label of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOP. This is one of the wines designed for the summer (but not only) by the Tollo winery. It is produced thanks to careful vinification of the best grapes arrived in the cellar. Cold maceration and soft pressing to extract only the best of the juice. Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel so as not to detract from the elegance of the fruit. The result is a wine characterized by its typical intense pink colour, with violet hues. The nose is particularly rich and pleasant. There are notes of ripe red fruit, floral and delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, it is flat and intense. A pleasantly smooth wine that is easy to pair successfully on any table.
