"Mareviglia" Toscana IGT Rosato 2022

Few people know that the Bolgheri area, today known to most for the quality of its reds with an international flavour, was originally a land of excellent white and rosé wines. It is no coincidence that it was these two types that were recognised first, in 1984. Mareviglia pays tribute to those very wines. A rosé made from international Grenache and Syrah grapes, this pleasant Tuscan is produced using the direct press technique to obtain a beautiful antique pink colour. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature and ageing in stainless steel tanks. The result is a beautiful rosé, characterised by an intense and rich bouquet, with notes of fresh herbs and sweet fruit. In the mouth it is a fresh and fruity wine, with a pleasant long and persistent finish. It is the aperitif wine par excellence, especially if it is summer and we are lucky enough to be not too far from the sea. But even at table it knows how to enhance dishes of different kinds. Excellent with smoked salmon, for example, but also with sushi. A real 'delicacy'.
