Grattamacco

The Grattamacco winery is located between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri, in an area of enchanting beauty, from where there is a panoramic view of the Tuscan coast. Since 2002 it has been part of the ColleMassari Wine Estates group, which belongs to the Bertarelli family, although the estate dates back to 1977. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 100-200 metres above sea level, in a protected position in the hilly area of Bolgheri. The area enjoys a dry climate with considerable temperature fluctuations, which makes it possible to cultivate not only French grapes, but also Sangiovese and Vermentino.
