Let's start with the DO, that is the denomination of origin of this red wine proposed by La Quinta. It is a wine from Jumilla, a region that extends to the north of Murcia, in the southern part of Spain looking towards the Mediterranean Sea. Quite a warm area where Monastrell does very well. And La Quinta Milonga is made from this very grape, sourced from 40-year-old vineyards and aged in French and American oak barrels for just four months. A fresh and immediate wine, perfect to be consumed, with satisfaction, within a few years after harvesting. Ruby red of beautiful vivacity, the nose immediately reveals aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice, with notes of vanilla and spices, resulting from the passage in oak. The taste is elegant, full-bodied and endowed with refreshing acidity. Perfectly balanced in all its components, this red wine has a pleasant tannic texture that makes it a perfect match for grilled meats. Good structure and persistence that prolongs the pleasure of each sip for several minutes.
