Harvesting and winemaking at Château Beauregard are now carried out with even greater precision than in the past, thanks to a new, ultra-modern winemaking cellar. The harvesting of the grapes, this has never changed, is still done strictly by hand, ensuring the perfect ripeness of each bunch that reaches the winery. Vinification takes place inside pure concrete truncated conical vats with a built-in temperature control system. For the best quality batches, malolactic fermentation is carried out in new oak barrels purchased from 7 different coopers to ensure proper maturation for each batch. Then, for the maturation phase, the wine rests, again in wood, for no less than 15 months. Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol is a rich and rewarding wine with notes of chocolate, hints of dried flowers and ripe fruit. The mouth reveals a medium body, fine and silky tannins and a long and pleasant finish. Good already, not afraid of the passage of time. To be paired strictly with red meat dishes or well-aged cheeses.
