A blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Nascetta, the Langhe Très Plus is fresh and zesty with a very direct and cheerful quality of fruit. You get some of the thickness of the Nascetta grape with the stacked aromatics of Chardonnay. This wine begs for fried fish or one of those delicious roasted dishes in which the fish is encrusted in salt. The Chardonnay component is aged in barrique for 12 months (with 30% new oak) and the Nascetta only sees stainless steel.
A fruity white, showing cooked-lemon and dried-mango character with some bitter lemon and cedar. It’s full-bodied and lightly creamy with some honey undertones. Showing some nice bottle complexity. Drink now.
An important white. One of those whites that doesn't make a bad impression even when paired with a meat dish, as long as it's not overly flavorful. This is Langhe DOC Bianco "Trés Plus", 85% Chardonnay with an addition of Nascetta grapes. A wine that comes from a particular process. After the harvest and the pressing, the fermentation is started in steel containers at controlled temperature. After a while, however, when the must reaches three degrees alcohol, it is transferred to wooden barrels where it completes its fermentation. This is followed by refinement in the bottle before release. The result is a white wine with good body and great longevity. A wine that presents itself in the glass with a beautiful deep yellow color. Intense and rich aromas that range from fruity sensations to citrus notes of great finesse. In the mouth it is ample and enjoyable. A great wine that to be appreciated at its best should not be served too cool and above all should be sipped slowly. No rush!
The Abrigo family is one of the many families of the Langa dedicated to wine for generations. A family in which traditions are handed down from father to son and where each generation has the task of safeguarding what has been done, improving it where possible, but above all making sure that the family business always keeps up with the times. So when in 1988 Giovanni Abrigo began to collaborate with his father, his first thought was to improve the technological aspect and to enlarge the company surface with the purchase of lands and vineyards. Today the farm directly manages about 20 hectares of vineyards. And its wines receive international awards and recognition.
