"Santavenere" Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2017

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Santavenere is a Triacca red wine characterised by a broad bouquet of aromas, due in large part to the right altitude of the vineyards and the diversity of the soils from which the Sangiovese grapes come. In spring, after fermentation, Santavenere matures and is aged for 18 months in large and small oak barrels in the Fattoria's cellar. Then, after a further 6 months of resting in steel, the wine is ready for bottling. It lends itself to medium-long ageing. In the glass it is characterised by an intense red colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet is intense and aromatic, with the typical scent of violets and slight hints of mint. In the mouth, however, it is rich, full-bodied, velvety and elegant, slightly tannic and with good persistence. Excellent with roasts, red and white meats, game and cheeses.
