Prince of the Langa, Nebbiolo can express itself at the highest levels even in wines that are less noble than Barolo. As in this case. Here Tenuta Cucco, thanks to its profound knowledge of the territory, succeeds in bottling a young and lively Nebbiolo that lends itself perfectly to an everyday table. This is also thanks to a unique production process. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed, gently crushed and placed in vats to ferment at 24°C for 4 days. This is followed by a white fermentation, i.e. without the skins, after which, after a few racking operations, malolactic fermentation takes place. Matured in stainless steel until bottling, it "does not touch" wood. A pale ruby red colour, it has a vinous bouquet, followed by notes of flowers, such as roses and violets, and freshly picked fruit, such as currants, sour cherries, raspberries and strawberries, with a final hint of cocoa. In the mouth, there is a slightly pronounced acidity that dissolves into the sweet fruitiness, with discreet tannins. It goes well with snacks and aperitifs with bread, salami and cheese. It also goes well with meat dishes that are not too elaborate.
