"Erres" Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut

Why give up the pleasure of a good Prosecco while having lunch or dinner? Just because in its traditional formula this excellent sparkling wine has a hint of sweetness too much? Problem solved with this Erres, Valdobbiadene DOCG proposed by Serre di Pederiva in a new Brut Nature version. With very, very little residual sugar, without losing any of its pleasantness and ease of drinking. Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, this Prosecco Superiore has a soft and persistent mousse, well nourished by a fine and incessant perlage. The nose is dominated by notes of fresh fruit and summer flowers. In the mouth, however, it is fresh and crisp. It is, its producers emphasise, the ideal sparkling wine for demanding palates but above all for those who want to try new taste experiences. Excellent as an aperitif, it has no problem accompanying the whole meal. Good with fish-based first courses, such as spaghetti allo scoglio, it also goes well with delicate white meat dishes. Try it, for example, with classic roast chicken.
