Sellaronda Kalterersee Lago di Caldaro is the ode that Provinco dedicates to a unique territory, and to the grape variety that determines the name and ancestry of a special wine. A red wine that has all the impetuosity of youth, the result of a complicated vintage. Dry winter, early budding and late frosts could have represented an apocalypse for Trentino, but fortunately this did not happen. The warm weather of the summer brought the fruit to full maturity, with harvesting already in late August. The quality of Kalterersee Lago di Caldaro was immediately apparent in the Sellaronda cellar. Sparkling ruby red in the glass, with clear scents of cherry and raspberry. Vague hints of bitter almond close the articulated olfactory profile, paving the way for a savoury palate, soft and pleasant to sip. Ideal companion for relaxed chats, superb alongside traditional local dishes such as Surfleisch with sauerkraut.
